With more requests for proposals (RFPs), proofs of concepts (POCs), and projects centered on the new technological subject, AI consulting firms are observing higher client interest, which has an “advantage India” viewpoint. This is due to the faster adoption of generative AI on a worldwide scale. According to businesses and experts, “AI Outsourcing” is gaining momentum.

“It’s not always in-house teams building these AI products. It is very similar to the mobile app revolution that happened in the early 2010s. Almost every company was developing an app then, and now that’s happening with AI,” according to Abhishek Agarwalla, CEO and cofounder of AI consulting startup Aidetic.

While unicorn startup Fractal claimed that its daily client query numbers have increased “dramatically” to the point where they are now equal to the weekly query number it received earlier in February. NSE-listed Latent View Analytics reported that their client conversations are up five times around Gen AI use cases since the launch of ChatGPT.

According to a FICCI-Access Partnership paper published last week, the addition of generative AI to daily tasks could help the Indian economy generate $621 billion of productive capacity across the Indian economy, equivalent to 18% of GDP in 2021.
