Services sector to aid US$ 5 trillion economy: CIM

On Tuesday, Union minister Shri Piyush Goyal  expressed confidence in the economy stating that India’s service sector can help reach the Central government’s target of USD 5 trillion GDP. Commerce and Industry, said the service sector has the calibre to be the largest job creators in the country and over the next five years it has the potential to contribute USD 3 trillion out of the USD 5 trillion GDP target set by the government. He also spoke about the manufacturing and services being the engines for the economy’s growth.
