Bajaj Auto reported a 35.2% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹3,354 crore for the September quarter, supported by strong revenue growth and improved vehicle sales.
Bajaj Auto reported a 35.2% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹3,354 crore for the second quarter of the 2026–27 financial year, according to its quarterly results reported on October 27. The company’s net profit stood at ₹2,480 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
Revenue from operations increased 34.1% to ₹20,003.43 crore, compared with ₹14,922.05 crore in the year-ago period. The growth reflected stronger business performance across the company’s vehicle segments.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 36.7% to ₹4,171 crore from ₹3,052 crore a year earlier. The EBITDA margin stood at 20.9%, compared with 20.5% in the corresponding quarter, according to the figures published in the newspaper report.
The company also recorded growth in domestic and export sales. Two-wheeler sales increased 19% year-on-year to approximately 1.54 million units during the quarter, supported by demand across its product portfolio.
Exports remained an important contributor to the company’s performance. Shipments of two-wheelers and commercial vehicles increased 40% to 779,000 units, according to the report.
Bajaj Auto said its export business had continued to recover, with demand improving across international markets. The company’s presence in overseas markets remains an important part of its business, particularly in regions where its motorcycles and commercial vehicles have an established customer base.
The quarterly results highlight growth in revenue and profitability alongside higher vehicle volumes. The company’s performance in the coming quarters will depend on domestic demand, export-market conditions, product mix and input costs.
