New e-commerce platform launched for livestock trade

Animpet Ecomm, an Agritech startup based in Gurgaon, has launched AnimStok.com, a new e-commerce platform offering 15 different verticals for animal-based products and services.

AnimStok.com, a new e-commerce platform for the livestock economy, was commercially launched last week. The platform provides a centralised and organised marketplace for all animal-based products and services.

Animpet Ecomm, an Agritech startup based in Gurgaon, is the company that started the AnimStok.com e-commerce platform. The platform will have 15 different verticals, including livestock trading, dairy and products, poultry, meat and products, fisheries, animal feed, nutrients, medicines, and veterinary services.

According to a company statement, AnimStok.com provides services to the business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), and consumer-to-consumer (C2C) segments of the livestock economy.

Animstok.com was incorporated in 2021 and was launched after the trial runs with over 25,000 vendors offering 0.15 million products and services, as per a company statement. The company has received startup certification from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

“The number of vendors will be scaled up to one million, offering 10 million products,” said Karishma Dagar, co-founder, and chief marketing officer of AnimStok.com.
