New Delhi: Kia India has announced a price increase across its vehicle lineup, making its cars more expensive from July 1, 2026. The company stated that prices will rise by up to 2%, depending on the model and variant.
According to Kia, the decision has been taken due to the continuous increase in raw material costs, manufacturing expenses, and operational expenditures. The automaker said it has absorbed a significant portion of the rising costs over the past months but now finds a price revision necessary to maintain sustainable operations.
The upcoming price hike will impact most of Kia India’s passenger vehicle portfolio, including some of its best-selling models such as:
- Kia Sonet
- Kia Syros
- Kia Seltos
- Kia Carens
- Kia Carens Clavis
- Kia Carnival
- Kia Carens Clavis EV
- Kia EV6
- Kia EV9
The company clarified that the increase will vary across different models and variants, meaning not all vehicles will see the same level of price revision.
Industry analysts note that several automobile manufacturers have recently revised prices amid rising commodity costs and supply chain expenses. Kia emphasized that it remains committed to delivering strong value-for-money offerings while balancing increasing production costs.
Customers planning to purchase a Kia vehicle can still take advantage of existing prices before the revised pricing comes into effect next month.
