As extreme heatwaves continue to impact large parts of India, AKAI India has launched its 2026 Summer Collection with a strong consumer-focused message — “Har Ghar Zero Summer.” The company says its latest range of air conditioners and refrigerators has been specially engineered to help Indian households tackle rising temperatures without putting pressure on household budgets.

The newly launched NXT version of AKAI’s Nilgiree Split Inverter AC Series has been designed to deliver uninterrupted cooling even when outdoor temperatures touch 55 degrees Celsius — a growing reality in states like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab during peak summer months. Available in 1-ton and 1.5-ton variants with 3-star to 5-star ratings, the ACs come equipped with features such as 9-in-1 Flexi Mode, 6-in-1 convertible cooling, frost self-clean technology, ultra-fine air purification, and 100% copper condenser coils.

For consumers struggling with rising electricity costs and voltage fluctuations during summer, AKAI says the products are built to offer energy-efficient cooling while maintaining performance in Indian power conditions.

Alongside the AC lineup, the company has also introduced a new refrigerator range featuring Deep Direct Cool technology. The refrigerators are aimed at consumers looking for affordable cooling solutions for food storage and daily summer needs. The range includes compact 48-litre mini refrigerators as well as larger models up to 230 litres for family use.

The refrigerators feature wide voltage compatibility, manual and push defrost options, soft crispers, and modern brush-finish designs. AKAI is also using R600a refrigerant, which has lower environmental impact and zero ozone depletion potential. The company is offering a 10-year warranty on compressors, adding long-term value for buyers.

According to AKAI India Managing Director and CEO Anurag Sharma, the brand’s “Har Ghar Zero Summer” campaign is aimed at making cooling solutions accessible to every Indian household rather than treating comfort as a premium luxury.
