Lava International has started selling its new Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 smartphones in India through Flipkart and the company’s official website. The sale began on July 31, 2026, at 12 noon, with the devices aimed at young and digital-first customers looking for affordable smartphones with dependable everyday features.
The Lava Virat V1 5G is priced at ₹12,999, but buyers can purchase it at a special launch price of ₹11,999. It comes with 4GB RAM, 4GB virtual RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users can expand the storage up to 1TB through a memory card.
The phone features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the UNISOC T8200 processor. A 6000mAh battery handles power requirements, while the camera setup includes a 13-megapixel AI dual rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
Lava says the handset runs on clean Android 16 without advertisements or unnecessary pre-installed applications. It also offers IP64-rated protection against dust and water. The Virat V1 5G is available in Arya Blue and Sonar Gold colour options.
The more affordable Lava Virat V1 has a listed price of ₹9,999 and is being offered at a special launch price of ₹8,999. It uses the UNISOC SC9863A processor and gets a 5000mAh battery.
The 4G model also features a 6.75-inch HD+ screen, 4GB RAM, 4GB virtual RAM and 64GB storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB. It has a 13-megapixel AI dual rear camera, a 5-megapixel selfie camera and IP64 dust and water resistance.
The Virat V1 is available in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver. Through the latest launch, Lava is strengthening its online smartphone portfolio while targeting customers seeking large displays, long battery life and a clean software experience at an affordable price.
