Adani Enterprises has announced plans to acquire the remaining 44.6% stake in Flight Simulation Solutions Private Limited (FSSPL), giving the company complete ownership of the pilot training and flight simulation firm.
The acquisition will be carried out through its wholly owned subsidiary, Adani Defence Systems & Technologies Limited (ADSTL). Once completed, Adani’s stake in FSSPL will increase from 55.4% to 100%, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
Complete Control Over Training Operations
Following the acquisition, Adani will also gain full ownership of Flight Simulation Technik Center Private Limited, a subsidiary of FSSPL. ADSTL’s indirect stake in the company will rise from 72.8% to 100%, giving the group complete control over both businesses.
The transaction is expected to close within the next two months and will be completed through a cash payment. While the valuation of Flight Simulation Technik Center has been estimated at ₹820 crore, the company has not disclosed the purchase price for the remaining stake.
Focus on India’s Growing Aviation Sector
Adani Enterprises said the acquisition is aimed at strengthening its presence in the aviation services industry, particularly in pilot training and advanced flight simulation.
Flight Simulation Solutions and its subsidiary offer comprehensive training programs for airline pilots using certified flight simulators. As demand for commercial pilots continues to grow, the company is expected to play an important role in India’s aviation training ecosystem.
DGCA and European Approval
A major strength of the business is that Flight Simulation Technik Center is officially approved by both India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to provide professional pilot training.
These certifications enable the company to deliver internationally recognized pilot training programs, further strengthening Adani’s long-term ambitions in the aviation sector.
