The launch comes as Hyundai’s Knight range crosses 1 lakh cumulative sales since its introduction in 2022. With the new EXTER Knight, Hyundai is expanding its Knight-themed styling to its compact SUV portfolio.
The new Hyundai EXTER Knight gets several exclusive exterior design elements, including matte black EXTER and Hyundai logos at the front and rear, dark grey bumper and side sill garnishes, an exclusive Knight emblem and sporty black alloy wheels.
The SUV also features R15 black alloy wheels or dark grey styled steel wheels, depending on the variant. Red brake calipers at the front further enhance its sporty appearance and road presence.
Inside the cabin, the EXTER Knight gets an all-black interior theme with brass accents. It also features exclusive black semi-fabric seat upholstery, amber-colour footwell lighting and a black D-cut steering wheel on select variants.
The new EXTER Knight is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine. Customers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission and Smart Auto AMT. A bi-fuel petrol-CNG powertrain with a 5-speed manual transmission is also available.
The SUV is offered in five colour options — Titanium Black, Atlas White, Starry Night, Titan Grey and Golden Bronze.
The EXTER Knight is available across HX 6 1.2-litre Kappa Petrol MT, HX 6 1.2-litre Kappa Petrol AMT, HX 6 1.2-litre Bi-fuel Kappa Petrol with CNG and HX 10 1.2-litre Kappa Petrol AMT variants.
