Renewables Drive Expanding Power Portfolio
New Delhi, September 4, 2026: JSW Energy has announced that its total operational power generation capacity has crossed the 15 GW mark, with renewable energy accounting for around 60 per cent of the portfolio.
The company’s total operational capacity stands at 15,025 MW.
Its renewable energy portfolio has reached 9,067 MW, including 3,125 MW of wind capacity, 2,426 MW of solar capacity, 1,735 MW of hybrid projects and 1,781 MW of hydropower capacity.
JSW Energy’s thermal power portfolio stands at 5,958 MW.
The company said it remains on track to achieve its greenfield capacity addition target of 3 GW for FY2027.
According to the company, approximately 42 per cent of the greenfield capacity addition target has already been achieved.
The milestone highlights JSW Energy’s continued expansion across renewable and conventional power generation as India increases investments in energy capacity and clean power infrastructure.
