Changing work practices improve quality of life

Changes in work practices which have been brought due to the pandemic have enhanced the quality of life of 63% of job seekers, according to a report by Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (VOIS). The study was conducted in 10 countries, among 5,000 job seekers. 50% job seekers in India consider working from home as a permanent option & 59% of them have stated that changing work place has helped them become more productive.

“Without a regular daily commute, 46% of men and women surveyed in India also believe their family relationships have improved, with 42% saying they spend a greater amount of time in nature,” said the report by VOIS.

VOIS is a strategic arm of UK based Vodafone Group Plc. The data indicates that there is a growth from 36% to 47% since the pandemic in the people who prefer work-life balance as their top career goals. Desire of job security has also increased, and 37% people want it as their top career goals with compared to 34% pre-pandemic.
