The launch coincided with the celebration of the program’s three-year anniversary.
Goyal also introduced the ‘Guidelines for Preparing City Logistics Plans for Indian Cities,’ intended to assist urban areas in tailoring their logistics strategies to local conditions, ensuring that the plans align with specific goals and regional needs.
In his remarks, Goyal described the master plan as a vital tool for achieving rapid, efficient, and cost-effective infrastructure development. He noted that this initiative would place India at the forefront of global infrastructure innovation.
“This is going to be the technology that the world will use for their infra planning in the years to come,” he stated, emphasizing the plan’s relevance beyond India.
He further highlighted the integration of geospatial and cutting-edge technologies in the PM GatiShakti framework, marking it as a crucial step toward transforming India’s connectivity network. Goyal expressed confidence that the initiative will not only enhance domestic infrastructure but also serve as a model for other countries to follow.
