Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce has given a green signal to authorities to start importing medicines & life saving drugs from India. This move comes a month after Pakistan had decided to suspend bilateral trade with India after India revoked Article 370 (which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir) of its Constitution. Train and bus services between the two countries were also discontinued. Other moves by Pakistan included expelling the Indian Ambassador from Islamabad, boycotting Indian goods in Pakistan and banning Indian films and advertisements featuring Indian artists.
