Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jaipur on Tuesday to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 24 key projects worth over Rs 46,300 crore, marking a milestone for the Bhajanlal Sharma-led BJP government as it celebrates one year in power.

At the ‘Ek Varsh – Parinam Utkarsh’ event in Dadiya, near Sanganer, PM Modi will unveil initiatives focusing on energy, transportation, and water supply. He will inaugurate nine major projects worth over Rs 11,000 crore, including the Navnera Barrage to improve water management, a Smart Electricity Transmission Network to modernize energy infrastructure, railway electrification projects, and the Delhi-Vadodara Greenfield Alignment (NH-148N) to enhance connectivity.

PM Modi will also lay the foundation for 15 projects valued at over Rs 35,300 crore. These include water infrastructure like the Ramgarh and Mahalpur Barrages, estimated at over Rs 9,400 crore, and water transfer systems linking Navnera Barrage to Bisalpur and Isarda Dams. Additionally, large-scale solar power parks in Pugal (Bikaner) and rooftop solar plants on government buildings will boost renewable energy.

Several railway projects, including the Luni-Samdari-Bhildi, Ajmer-Chanderia, and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur double lines, will be initiated to improve transport efficiency and regional connectivity. Power infrastructure projects will strengthen energy grids and ensure reliable electricity access.

Ahead of the visit, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma reviewed preparations, ensuring smooth execution of the event. These initiatives, spanning water, energy, and transport, aim to transform Rajasthan’s infrastructure, promote economic growth, and enhance residents’ quality of life.
