Priniti Foods expands into sweets and cookies

Priniti Foods Pvt. Ltd. is expanding into the sweets and cookies segment, introducing traditional Indian sweets like Rasgulla and gourmet cookies like Badam & Kaju Cookies. These products will be available across India through general and modern trade channels and in international markets.

Priniti Foods Pvt. Ltd., a prominent player in India’s namkeen and snacks industry, is making a strategic entry into the sweets and cookies segment. This move will complement its already diverse product range, introducing traditional Indian sweets and gourmet cookies.

The new offerings include five types of Indian sweets such as Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Dry Fruit Panjeeri Ladoo, Dry Fruit Besan Ladoo, and Soan Papdi. Additionally, the cookie range consists of eight varieties, including Badam & Kaju Cookies, Ajwain Cookies, Jeera Cookies, Atta Cookies, Coconut Cookies, Jam Cookies, and Tutti Frutti Cookies. All products are crafted using premium ingredients to ensure exceptional taste. The company’s latest product lines will be available across general trade and Central Police Canteens nationwide. They will also be distributed through modern retail channels across Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttarakhand. Priniti Foods also plans to expand the reach of these sweets and cookies into international markets.

Anshul Garg, director of sales at Priniti Foods, expressed excitement about entering new categories, stating, “We are thrilled to venture into the new product categories. The packaged sweets market in India is growing exponentially and we want to capitalise on the growth.” He added that the company is committed to quality and will implement Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) technology, a popular food preservation technique that prevents spoilage and extends the shelf life of food products.
