New platform offers voice-based support, 22-language access, and faster pension grievance resolution.
New Delhi, June 22, 2026: The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has launched an AI-powered grievance redressal platform called Pension Sahayak, aimed at simplifying and accelerating the resolution of pension-related complaints for millions of subscribers across India.
The new portal replaces the existing grievance management system and leverages artificial intelligence to provide round-the-clock assistance, multilingual support, and a more user-friendly experience for pension holders.
Support in 22 Languages
One of the key features of Pension Sahayak is its support for 22 Indian languages, allowing users to register complaints in their preferred language. Pensioners can submit grievances either by typing or through voice commands, making the platform particularly useful for senior citizens and users from rural areas.
Simplified Login Process
Unlike the previous system, which required users to enter details such as their PRAN number, the new portal enables login through a mobile number and OTP verification. Users with multiple pension accounts linked to the same mobile number can access and manage all their accounts from a single dashboard.
WhatsApp and 24×7 Assistance
The AI-powered platform offers 24/7 support and also allows users to submit complaints through WhatsApp. If the AI assistant is unable to resolve a grievance, the complaint is automatically escalated to the appropriate authority for further action.
Additionally, if an issue is not resolved within the stipulated timeline, the system will automatically forward the complaint to higher officials, ensuring better accountability and faster resolution.
Boosting Digital Pension Services
With Pension Sahayak, PFRDA aims to make pension services more accessible, transparent, and efficient. The initiative is expected to significantly improve the grievance redressal experience for pension subscribers by reducing paperwork, simplifying communication, and speeding up complaint resolution.
