Swiggy’s affordable food delivery offering, 99 Store, has expanded rapidly across India, reaching more than 500 cities and over 1.8 lakh restaurant partners within a year.
Launched in July 2025, the service focuses on offering familiar meals at lower price points while giving consumers a wider selection of restaurants.
According to Swiggy, its 99 Store now accounts for one in every seven food orders placed on its platform, highlighting the demand for affordable food delivery options.
The service is positioned around food choices priced between ₹49 and ₹99. Consumers can choose products from major quick-service restaurant chains as well as local and regional food brands.
The restaurant selection includes major QSR chains such as Burger King, McDonald’s, KFC, Domino’s Pizza and Taco Bell. Local and regional restaurants are also part of the offering, expanding the range of choices available to customers.
The expansion comes as India’s online food delivery market continues to grow.
According to a Redseer report cited in the article, online food delivery is expected to increase its share of the country’s overall food services market from 11% in FY26 to 18% by FY31.
Swiggy’s expansion of the 99 Store indicates a growing focus on affordability as food delivery platforms try to reach a broader group of consumers.
The presence of more than 1.8 lakh restaurant partners also gives the service a wide base as it expands beyond major metropolitan markets.
With availability in more than 500 cities, the 99 Store combines lower-priced food options with choices from both established chains and smaller restaurant brands.
The company’s claim that the service already contributes one in every seven Swiggy food orders also shows how quickly the offering has grown since its July 2025 launch.
