EPFO has launched an official WhatsApp channel, giving members and pensioners another way to receive important updates and information directly from the retirement fund body.
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched its official WhatsApp channel as part of efforts to expand digital access to information for members and pensioners. The organisation announced the initiative through a post on X and invited users to join the channel.
EPFO has provided a direct link for users to join the channel. Members who access the link on a mobile phone are taken directly to WhatsApp, while those opening it on a computer are directed to a separate window.
The new channel provides another platform through which members can receive important information and developments related to EPFO services. The initiative is part of the retirement fund organisation’s continued expansion of digital access to information and services for employees, members and pensioners.
EPFO has also shared a video containing a QR code that users can scan to join the WhatsApp channel. Once subscribed, members can receive updates related to EPFO services and other developments relevant to members and pensioners directly through the platform.
The WhatsApp channel adds another digital communication option for EPFO’s members and pensioners, allowing official updates and useful information to be delivered through a widely used messaging platform.
