Navitas Solar plans to invest ₹10,000 crore over five years across Gujarat and Maharashtra to expand solar manufacturing, energy storage and renewable power generation.
The investment is planned across the solar value chain, covering ingots, wafers, high-efficiency solar cells and modules, along with battery energy storage systems and renewable power generation.
Navitas Solar is progressing with a 2.4 GW solar-cell manufacturing facility at Sisodara in Gujarat. Phase I involves an investment of around ₹1,200 crore.
The company is also developing pilot lines for ingot and wafer manufacturing to build technical capabilities for future expansion. The solar-cell facility is targeted to become operational by July 2027.
In Maharashtra, Navitas is developing two solar parks with capacities of 200 MW and 25 MW under EPC and independent power producer models.
The company is also entering energy storage with a planned 5 GWh battery energy storage facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.
