Mumbai, May 27: Tata Consultancy Services on Wednesday announced a new multi-year partnership with Swedish industrial manufacturing company SKF to modernise its global IT infrastructure and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
While financial details of the agreement were not officially disclosed, industry sources described the engagement as a multi-million-dollar long-term deal.
Focus on AI and Digital Modernisation
As part of the partnership, TCS will help SKF modernise its existing IT ecosystem and build a future-ready digital enterprise using artificial intelligence, data-driven technologies, and advanced digital solutions.
The Indian IT giant will provide end-to-end managed services across multiple areas including applications, infrastructure, data management, cybersecurity, connectivity, and end-user support operations for SKF’s global business.
The deal comes at a time when the global IT services industry is witnessing rapid changes due to the growing adoption of artificial intelligence and automation technologies.
