Paris: Reliance Retail Executive Director Isha Ambani represented Indian craftsmanship on the global fashion stage by attending Paris Haute Couture Week, where she appeared at designer Manish Malhotra’s Autumn/Winter 2026 couture presentation.
The show marked a historic milestone for Manish Malhotra as it was his first presentation on the official Paris Haute Couture calendar.
For the occasion, Isha Ambani wore a custom-designed golden couture gown created by Manish Malhotra in collaboration with stylist Andrew Mukamal. Crafted in Mumbai over 700 hours, the gown showcased traditional Indian zari and zardozi embroidery, incorporating the heritage techniques of sali and taban, along with hand-set crystal embellishments.
According to the designer, the couture creation was inspired by the theme “MAA (Mother)”, celebrating the strength, grace and enduring influence of women across generations.
Ambani completed her look with diamond jewellery, including 50-carat nude diamond earrings and a 12-carat pear-shaped nude diamond ring, highlighting the fusion of Indian craftsmanship with contemporary luxury fashion.
Beyond her appearance, Isha Ambani’s participation reflected her continued efforts to promote Indian designers, artisans and luxury brands on international platforms through her role at Reliance Retail.
She also attended presentations by Rahul Mishra, reinforcing her support for Indian creative talent at one of the world’s most prestigious fashion events.
