Major West Coast Project Boosts Operations
New Delhi, September 9, 2026: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a large offshore order from state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for development work off India’s west coast.
L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore will execute the project for the Additional Development of Ratna-I (ADR I) and NLM-14 fields.
According to L&T’s classification, a large order falls in the range of ₹2,500 crore to ₹5,000 crore.
The project involves engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning activities. The scope includes three new wellhead platforms and one riser platform, along with multiple sections of subsea pipelines and cables.
The contract will also cover brownfield modifications to existing offshore installations.
The order strengthens L&T’s offshore engineering and construction portfolio while supporting ONGC’s development activities along India’s western offshore region.
