Greater Noida, June 25, 2026: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone of the first industrial unit of the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster being developed in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area on June 27.
This unit will be set up in Sector-10 of YEIDA and will be developed by Ascent K-Circuit Private Limited. The project is considered a significant step toward boosting electronics and semiconductor manufacturing in Uttar Pradesh.
The proposed unit will manufacture high-tech electronic components such as flexible printed circuit boards, high-density interconnect PCBs, multilayer boards, and semiconductor substrates.
₹3,250 Cr Investment
YEIDA has allocated approximately 16 acres of land to Ascent K-Circuit for the project. The company is expected to invest around ₹3,250 crore in this unit.
K-Circuit is a South Korean electronics company that is partnering with Ascent to establish this manufacturing facility. This collaboration is expected to strengthen domestic production of advanced PCBs and semiconductor components in Uttar Pradesh.
206-Acre EMC
The Electronics Manufacturing Cluster is being developed under the central government’s EMC 2.0 scheme. The cluster is planned over an area of approximately 206 acres.
The central government is providing financial assistance for the project, while the remaining cost will be borne by YEIDA. The cluster will accommodate companies related to electronics, consumer appliances, computer hardware, automobile electronics, and semiconductors.
Havells India is associated with the cluster as a major anchor company.
Amber Unit Launch
The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the industrial unit of Amber Enterprises India Limited in Sector-8.
YEIDA has allocated around 100 acres of land to the company. The project is expected to involve an investment of approximately ₹3,532 crore.
The unit will manufacture copper-clad laminates, PCB assemblies, computer electronics, home appliances, and other electronic products.
Jobs Boost
Both projects are expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities in Greater Noida, the Yamuna Expressway, and surrounding areas.
These units will require engineers, technicians, machine operators, quality control staff, logistics personnel, and administrative staff.
Additionally, small and medium enterprises related to raw materials, packaging, transportation, maintenance, and local services are also likely to benefit from new business opportunities.
Electronics Hub
Due to the Noida International Airport, Yamuna Expressway, and improved road connectivity, the YEIDA region is emerging as a major hub for electronics and high-tech manufacturing.
Several companies related to semiconductors, PCBs, mobile components, home appliances, and electric mobility are planning investments in the region.
According to YEIDA officials, the EMC project will not only help reduce dependence on electronics imports but also strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s position as a leading electronics manufacturing state in the country.
Preparations have begun by the administration and the authority for the Chief Minister’s proposed program.
