Vietnam-based electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has expanded its footprint in India by inaugurating its first 3S dealership in Bihar. Located on NH-30, Bypass Road in Patna, the new outlet also marks the company’s 60th dealership in the country, highlighting its rapid retail expansion strategy.
The dealership has been established in partnership with Patliputra Motors Private Limited and features an 11,500-square-foot facility developed according to VinFast’s global retail standards. It includes a 3,000-square-foot showroom alongside integrated sales, after-sales service, maintenance, and customer support operations.
The Patna showroom represents VinFast’s entry into Bihar and reinforces its strategy of expanding beyond metro cities into tier-2 and tier-3 markets. The company aims to improve accessibility to premium electric mobility solutions for customers across emerging regions of India.
Speaking at the inauguration, VinFast India CEO Tapan Ghosh said the opening reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian market and marks an important step in strengthening its nationwide retail and after-sales network. The company remains on track to establish 75 dealerships across more than 60 Indian cities by the end of 2026.
VinFast continues to strengthen its electric mobility ecosystem through local manufacturing, charging infrastructure, strategic partnerships, and battery ecosystem initiatives. Its product lineup includes the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs, both carrying 5-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings, along with the all-electric VF MPV 7 offering an ARAI-certified driving range of 517 km. Customers also receive benefits such as complimentary maintenance, roadside assistance, extended warranty coverage, value-assured buyback options, and free charging across the V-Green network until March 31, 2029.
