Maharishi Ayurveda Wellness Hospitality has announced a €5 million expansion in the Netherlands, including a new European Centre of Excellence integrating Ayurvedic treatments, hospitality, education and research.
Maharishi Ayurveda Wellness Hospitality has announced the launch of a European Centre of Excellence at the Maharishi European Research University campus in the Netherlands.
The facility forms part of a €5 million expansion covering wellness, hospitality, education and research infrastructure as the organisation expands its European presence.
The centre will combine Ayurvedic treatments and Panchakarma therapies with wellness hospitality, practitioner education and scientific research within a single campus.
According to industry estimates cited by the company, the global Ayurveda market is projected to reach approximately $85.8 billion by 2033.
The European Ayurveda market is expected to increase from nearly $1.8 billion in 2025 to more than $7.2 billion by 2034, according to estimates cited in the statement.
Lakshman Shrivastava, Director at Maharishi Ayurveda Wellness Hospitality, said the centre is expected to receive around 3,000 visitors annually and train more than 100 Ayurveda and wellness professionals each year.
