LG Electronics India expects comfortable double-digit festive-season sales growth, supported by stronger consumer sentiment, a longer Diwali shopping window and expanded product launches.
LG Electronics India is optimistic about this year’s festive season, expecting double-digit growth in sales compared with last year as demand strengthens across home appliances and consumer electronics.
The company said Diwali falling on November 8 provides a longer festive shopping period than last year, allowing both manufacturers and retailers additional time to capture consumer demand. LG has already begun pre-production and inventory planning with its dealer network.
According to Co-Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Sanjay Chitkara, the company has maintained its growth momentum after posting 15.5% revenue growth in the June quarter despite higher input costs.
LG also unveiled 15 new semi-automatic washing machine models ranging from 8 kg to 12 kg capacities. The category remains significant for the company, contributing nearly half of its washing machine volumes, with around 2.2 million units sold annually.
Beyond domestic growth, exports remain a key focus area. LG has expanded its export footprint from 47 countries to 66 countries and aims to increase overseas business to a double-digit share of total revenue. The upcoming Sri City manufacturing plant, backed by an investment of around ₹5,000 crore, is expected to further strengthen export capacity.
The company has also lined up new French-door refrigerators, QNED and OLED televisions, chest freezers and festive consumer offers ahead of the peak shopping season.
