Jindal Stainless has partnered with Nasscom to provide employees access to FutureSkills Prime courses in emerging technologies and professional skills, alongside a separate agreement to develop government-recognised industry qualifications.
Jindal Stainless has partnered with IT industry body Nasscom to expand technology and professional-skills training across its workforce.
Under the partnership, Jindal Stainless employees will receive access to FutureSkills Prime, a digital skilling platform led by Nasscom in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
Employees will be able to enrol in structured learning programmes covering emerging technologies and professional skills through the platform’s network of learning and content partners. The programme will also provide access to industry-validated certification pathways.
Jindal Stainless Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal said technological change is reshaping industries and the skills required in the workplace, making continuous capability development important alongside technology adoption.
According to the company’s annual report, Jindal Stainless had more than 29,000 employees, including on-roll and contractual workers, as of March 31.
Separately, the company has signed an agreement with the National Council for Vocational Education and Training under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for recognition as an Awarding Body.
The recognition will enable Jindal Stainless to develop and offer government-recognised, industry-led qualifications and certification programmes aligned with skills required across the stainless-steel ecosystem.
