The Department of Financial Services under the Ministry of Finance has launched a new Common Landing Portal aimed at helping citizens trace and access unclaimed financial assets across India’s banking and financial ecosystem.
The portal, developed in partnership with PSB Alliance, provides a single unified platform where users can search for unclaimed bank deposits, insurance claims, shares, dividends and mutual funds.
The platform is accessible through
Unclaimed Assets Portal
The initiative is part of the government’s nationwide campaign “आपकी पूँजी, आपका अधिकार (Your Money, Your Right)”, which focuses on improving awareness, tracing and recovery of unclaimed financial assets belonging to individuals and families.
The portal was officially launched by DFS Secretary M. Nagaraju during a review meeting of public sector banks on May 29, 2026.
According to the Finance Ministry, the portal is expected to simplify the process of searching unclaimed assets by bringing multiple financial sector search facilities together under one digital interface. Officials said this will improve citizen convenience and strengthen efforts to reconnect people with their rightful funds.
The government also believes the initiative will enhance financial empowerment, transparency and trust in the financial system while supporting the broader vision of financial inclusion under Viksit Bharat 2047.
