The government has invited mining companies, investors and global delegates to participate in India Mining Week 2026, scheduled for November 15-17 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi.
New Delhi, Sep 30 — The government has invited the global mining community to participate in India Mining Week 2026 as it seeks greater international collaboration, investment and technology partnerships in the country’s mining and minerals sector.
Coal Additional Secretary Rupinder Brar said India is looking to draw on the ideas, experience and support of international partners to build a more innovative, sustainable and globally connected mining sector.
The invitation was made during the “India Mining: Global Connect” interaction, which brought together representatives of diplomatic missions from 19 countries to discuss opportunities for greater participation and collaboration in India’s mining and minerals ecosystem.
Brar said the mining and minerals sector has an important role to play as India advances as the world’s fourth-largest economy. She called on global participants to exchange ideas, share expertise and explore opportunities for cooperation.
India Mining Week 2026 is scheduled to be held from November 15 to 17 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. It is being organised by the Ministry of Coal and the Ministry of Mines in association with the mining industry.
The event is being positioned as India’s largest conference-cum-exhibition for the mining and minerals sector.
Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey also called for active participation from the international mining community. He invited partner countries to facilitate the participation of major mining companies, investors and prominent delegates.
The government said stronger international engagement could create mutually beneficial opportunities and deepen collaboration across the mining and minerals sector.
