2026 Toyota Innova Crysta Launched in India at Rs 19.72 Lakh: New Features, Premium Cabin and Trusted Diesel Power

Updated MPV gets a bolder design, enhanced comfort features, and improved cabin appeal while retaining its proven 2.4-litre diesel engine

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has officially launched the 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta in India, with prices starting at Rs 19.72 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest update brings a refreshed look, new convenience features, and a more premium cabin experience, helping the popular MPV stay relevant in a highly competitive market.

For over two decades, the Innova brand has enjoyed immense popularity among Indian families, fleet operators, and long-distance travelers. With the 2026 update, Toyota has focused on enhancing comfort and style without compromising the practicality and reliability that made the Innova Crysta a household name.

On the outside, the MPV receives subtle but noticeable cosmetic upgrades. A redesigned front grille gives the vehicle a more sophisticated appearance, while revised front and rear bumper garnishes add a stronger road presence. Although the overall silhouette remains unchanged, these updates lend the Innova Crysta a fresher and more premium look.

Inside the cabin, Toyota has introduced several refinements aimed at improving passenger comfort. The MPV now features dual-tone leather seat upholstery, complemented by new Grace Copper trim accents and wood-pattern inserts on the dashboard and door panels. These changes create a more upscale ambience for both drivers and passengers.

The feature list has also been expanded. Select variants now come equipped with a wireless smartphone charger and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Updated switchgear and redesigned AC control details further enhance the cabin’s premium appeal. Other key features include a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, steering-mounted controls, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill Start Assist Control.

Under the hood, the 2026 Innova Crysta continues with the trusted 2.4-litre diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The powertrain produces 148 bhp and 343 Nm of torque. Known for its smooth performance and strong low-end pulling power, the diesel engine remains a major reason behind the MPV’s popularity among private owners and commercial operators alike. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency figure of up to 15 kmpl.

The updated Innova Crysta is available in GX, GX+, VX, and ZX variants, with both seven-seat and eight-seat configurations offered across most trims. With its combination of proven reliability, enhanced comfort, and premium styling, the 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta aims to strengthen its position as one of India’s most trusted family MPVs.
